Numby.gg Privacy Policy

Simple Machine, LLC (“Simple Machine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) makes the Numby mobile game, also referred to as Numby.gg. This Privacy Policy covers the mobile game and communications with our support team.
You can play Numby without creating an account.
Information stored on your device
Numby stores information locally to support gameplay, including:
Your current board, number queue, remaining moves and carry-bank state.
Scores, records, statistics and run progress.
Tutorial completion and gameplay preferences.
Age-range selections and privacy choices.
Run measurements used by the game’s prepared analytics features.
Keeping information in a local save does not by itself send it to us. Deleting app data may remove your progress and preferences. Device backups may retain copies according to your backup settings.
Optional online services
The current development build has live analytics, crash reporting and advertising disabled. The following describes the optional services prepared for versions in which they are enabled.
Optional services remain subject to the app’s privacy controls and applicable consent requirements.
Gameplay analytics and diagnostics
If enabled and permitted, Google Analytics for Firebase may process generated installation and session identifiers, app and device information, approximate region, and gameplay events.
Numby’s gameplay measurements may include scores, moves, matches, rainbow completions, board clears, score sources, assistance settings, and information about how a run ends. End-of-run events may include board contents, the number queue, carry-bank state and unmet gameplay goals. These records help us understand difficulty, balance and technical problems.
We do not attach your support email, name or full birth date to gameplay events.
If separately enabled and permitted, Firebase Crashlytics may process crash logs, installation identifiers, device information and technical diagnostics.
Firebase Remote Config may deliver configuration settings and test variants and process installation or connection information when started under the app’s privacy controls.

Advertising
Numby’s prepared advertising feature supports occasional advertisements at eligible restart points. Rewarded advertising is disabled in the current game integration.
If advertising is activated, Unity LevelPlay and its configured advertising providers may process device and advertising identifiers, approximate location, app and device information, ad interactions, and diagnostic or fraud-prevention information. The providers actually enabled must be disclosed before that version is released.

Where required, advertising consent and Apple’s tracking permission are requested separately. Declining optional collection or tracking does not prevent ordinary gameplay.
Age information and children
Numby’s privacy controls use an age range rather than a full birth date. The selection is stored locally.
In the current implementation, optional analytics, crash reporting and advertising are restricted to players who select an adult age range. These features remain disabled for players below 18 or whose age eligibility is unresolved.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@simplemachine.co so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Support communications
When you contact support@simplemachine.co, we receive your email and the information you provide. We use it to respond, investigate problems and maintain support records. Please do not send passwords or payment-card information.
Use and disclosure
We use information to provide gameplay, preserve progress and preferences, improve game balance, diagnose failures, deliver permitted advertising, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
Service providers may process information for these purposes. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect users or defend legal rights.
Where applicable, we rely on consent for optional analytics, diagnostics and advertising-related processing; legitimate interests for support and service protection; and legal obligations for required processing.
Retention, security and international processing
Local saves remain on your device until removed or replaced. If online services are enabled, collected information is retained for the purposes described here, subject to applicable legal requirements and provider retention schedules.
Withdrawing consent stops future collection through the corresponding app control. It does not automatically erase previously collected information.
Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, under applicable transfer safeguards.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can use the game’s privacy controls, where available, to manage optional analytics, diagnostics and advertising choices. Device settings provide additional advertising and tracking controls.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of targeted advertising and processing legally considered a sale or sharing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Contact support@simplemachine.co and identify Numby. We may need limited information to verify your request or locate records. An email alone may not identify installation-based data. We cannot remotely erase data stored only on your device.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Numby or our practices change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice or request consent when required.
